Airports

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

 

DCA is the closest airport but flights are more limited.
You can take the blue line metro train from DCA to the Farragut West stop, just 3 blocks from the clinic.

 

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

 

IAD is a 40-minute drive from the clinic. Flights are generally cheaper than DCA but you may pay more for transportation to/from the airport.

 

You can take the Silver Line Metro train from Reston to the Farragut West stop, just 3 blocks from the clinic. However, you have to take a Metro bus from IAD to the Reston Metro stop. In 2021, the Silver line will go to IAD directly.

 

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

 

BWI is often the cheapest airport for flights to the DC area, but it is also the farthest from the clinic. It may take more than 1 hour to the DuPont Clinic from BWI.

 

You can take a MARC or Amtrak train from BWI to Union Station. From Union Station, you can take the Red Line Metro train to the Farragut North station, just 3 blocks from the clinic.

Train Stations

Union Station is a hub for many trains and buses coming and going to Washington, D.C. For patients looking for more of a budget friendly travel option, finding a bus or a train into DC will usually stop at Union Station.

 

From Union Station, you can take the Red Line Metro train to the Farragut North station, just 3 blocks from the clinic. Patients are also encouraged to take an Uber or Lyft directly to the DuPont Clinic.
